Access Information

Crete is serviced by two international airports, Heraklio and Chania . Daily ferry boat service to Crete is also available from Piraeus to Heraklion. If possible, it's recomended that Heraklion is your arrival point in Crete.. The distance from Heraklion to Kritsa is about 85 Km. Once in Heraklion Airport or Heraklion Port, you can reach Kritsa in one of three ways from below:

By Car

Once you are traveling with your own car, you have to find the new national road of Heraklion - Agios Nikolaos. Once you get on the national road to Agios Nicolaos, you go straight for about 75km. While reaching Agios Nicolaos, you turn to the road Agios Nicolaos - Kritsa. After ten minutes you are at Argyro Rent Rooms Hotel.

By Taxi

There are always taxis available at the airport. The taxi ride from Heraklion Airport or Harbor to Kritsa takes about one hour and the cost is about 50 euro.

By Bus

• From the port you can reach the bus depot (KTEL), in 10 minutes by feet. From the airport may take a bus or taxi to the bus depot (KTEL).
• From the bus depot you can board a bus to Agios Nikolaos (Heraklion-Agios Nikolaos is about 75 Km,
  Ticket Price = 6,50 € | Travel time = about 90 minutes).
• Then you change in Agios Nikolaos your bus, boarding a bus from Agios Nikolaos to Kritsa Village (Agios Nikolaos-Kritsa is about 10 Km,  Ticket Price = 1,40 € | Travel time = about 15 minutes).
